Integra-12

The International Office and the Offices of Deutsch als Fremdsprache (DaF) offer the Integra-12 programme. This programme includes free German beginner courses as well as other events for refugee prospective students.

Online Application Integra-12

The next Integra-12 course starts in summer semester 2018.
From 1 February to 28 February 2018, you can apply online.

Please enter the required data for the online application. All compulsory fields must be completed! Your application cannot be changed after it has been sent.

After the online application, please hand in your documents during the consultation hours at the Admisson Office.

Consultation hours are always Tuesdays 10.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m. and Thursdays 2.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m. Please ask for a ticket at the reception on the ground floor – SSC 0. Your ticket number will appear on the monitor in the waiting area, when it is your turn.


Hand in the following documents till 9 March 2018 at 12.00 p.m. at the Admission Office:

  • certificates (school, studies) in the original or certified copy
  • an officially certified translation of the certificates in German, English or French
  • a motivation letter (maximum of one DINA4 page)

Please note that only complete applications will be taken into consideration for Integra-12.


Courses and other Events

12 hours/week in total:

  • German course (8 h/week)
  • Academic and cultural events; lectures and workshops (4 h/week)

German Language Courses

German courses are led by a DaF qualified volunteer teaching staff. Courses are available from level A1. After a placement test you will be assigned to the according German courses.

Propaedeutic Programme

The propaedeutic portion of the project includes various events for beginner as well as advanced German speakers; information events, outings, lectures and preparatory and intercultural workshops. Participation is mandatory.

Participation Requirements

Participation is reserved for prospective student refugees who have obtained their university entrance certificate (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung) either in Germany or in their home country, and who already reside in Germany with a residence status or temporary residence permit at the time of application.
